Spread the word – Offene Arme

One of the most useful ways of helping us is by raising awareness on the current situation in Chios. At the end of May 2024 there were 758 refugees in Chios being supported by a very limited number of helped by NGOs. Offene Arme has been filling gaps in provision for the last eight years – mainly concentrating on providing non food items to all the new arrivals.

There is one refugee camp in Chios that hosts the majority of refugees – the Vial Camp – but some of them also stay in self-funded accommodations around the island.
