In collaboration with other NGOs working alongside vulnerable children inside of Vial CCAC, we continiously organise distributions of vital items to unaccompanied minors outside of Vial CCAC.
Unaccompanied minors are the most vulnerable population inside Vial CCAC and live in a protected ‘safe zone’ within the CCAC. Unlike other asylum seekers, they don’t have access to the monthly stipend given by the Greek government to registered asylum seekers.
This is why it is Offene Arme’s top priority to try and support requests catering to the children’s needs; it is vital that we provide children with essential items, such as clothes, shoes, hygiene products, and more.
We also work alongside other NGOs to provide services such as hospital transfers and medical tests.
